His smile faultered slightly, but he soon smiled again. "You wouldn't push me in. If you did, you'd come crawling back ten minutes later for forgiveness."

When Nathan helped her up, Lita stumbled. Her left foot was still ldsfkhadfjkdsf. His concern surprised her, but she welcomed it. "My left foot is kind of hurting, but I'll be fine. Thanks." She looked up at him and smiled slightly.

"Now why would I do that? I barely even know you." She smirked. "And you really haven't given me a reason to want to save you, now have you?"


"Can you walk?" He asked, still worried.

Jiall rolled his eyes knowingly and turned around, walking towards the exit. She wants me.

Lita tried to walk forward, but failed. "Depends on your definition of walking," She muttered.

She chuckled softly, checking to make sure she still had the water. And, watching for holes, followed behind.



"Alright, come on" he said, offering his shoulder as a crutch to help her walk. He looked up, "Seems like they found the exit. Well, we don't want to be stuck here forever, do we?" He grinned.

"Thanks," Lita said softly as she limped along with her arm wrapped around Nathan's waist for support.

Jiall realized he had no idea where he was going and stopped, motioning Samara ahead of. He would never admit that he was clueless, so he simply said "Brains before beauty."

Clove continued to walk inside of the cave. "Watch your steps."

She sighed, "You know, a real gentleman leads the way into danger. He doesn't force the women through."
She walked ahead, staying close to the wall again. "Maybe you should take a lesson from them." she mumbled to herself




Nathan followed behind the others, keeping a close eye in the ground for holes or anything else that could be in this cave..

"Those other guys don't got nothing on me." Jiall smirked and playfully threw his arm around Samara's shoulder. Maybe he shouldn't let her go through first alone.

Lita kept her eyes fixed on the ground, determined not to fall into another hole.

She stiffened at the contact, and shot a glare his way. "Why am I the only one here that you feel the need to annoy?"


"How far away from an exit do you think we are?" He questioned, his eyes scanning the dark rocky walls.

Jiall smirked. "Cause Clove looks like she would kill me and Dante is still like "

Lita could barely see five feet in front of her. The only light came from Jiall's fire. The dust around her built up in her nostrils and she sneezed, rocketing up four feet in the air. She blushed when she landed. "Sorry," She muttered.

"So I'm a last resort? That's nice to know." She raised an eyebrow, shooting a judging look his way. "Also how do you even know my name?"



"Heh, no problem.. that was pretty cool!" he grinned awkwardly. Moving to take a step to catch up to the others, his foot caught on a jagged stone and his face crashed into the ground. "I'm okay!" he shouted into the earth, spitting out pebbles.

Jiall raised an eyebrow, completely ignoring the last resort comment. "Who said I knew your name?"

Lita knelt down instantly next to Nathan. "Oh my gawd, are you okay?"

She shrugged, "No one, just I could've sworn you said my name earlier." she frowned slightly, searching her memory. Staring off slightly, she faintly heard a small hiss and the sound of something sliding over stone. She froze, the color draining slightly from her face as she spotted the slithering menace out of the corner of her eye.


Nathan coughed, ridding his throat of the remaining pebbles. "I'm fine," he reassured, standing back up "Although I should probably watch where I'm going.." he chuckled nervously.

Jiall caught her glance. "What's wrong?"

Lita smiled. "That makes two of us."

Taking a deep breath, the animal slithered closer, flicking out it's tongue. "S-" the snake lunged. Samara shrieked and backed up, running strait into Jiall.



He heard a commotion from the front of the group, frowning slightly "What do you think that was?" he asked. Was it another Hunter?

Jiall could see thd snake leap and instinctively, when Samara backed up, he threw his body in front of her. When the snake was inches from hm, he created a whirl of fire and sent it straight towards the serpent.


Lita furrowed her brow. "I don't know." She quickened her psce a bit and when the snake came into view, she backed up and her face went pale.

Her head smacked against the ragged stone wall, and she reached out to the nearest thing for support. The nearest thing, unfortunately, happened to be another snake's tail. It took a minute for her brain to process the smooth scales and the hissing. Dropping the tail, she bolted up, eyes scanning the walls of the tunnel. Slithering forms moved across the walls and hung from the ceiling alongside the vines. "They're everywhere.." she managed to choke out, her eyes wide.

Nathan hurried to catch up, freezing when he noticed Lita's expression. He felt one of the slithering devils move across his shoe, and saw many of them moving across the tunnel. "Oh.."
